1939 Established as Fuji Lite Industries Co., Ltd. in Sato-cho, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Pref. Begins manufacturing clutch plates, gears, and other synthetic resin products using press molding with Bakelite as the principal raw material.
1943 Changes trade name to Fuji Chemical Co., Ltd.
1948 Begins business dealings with Honda R&D Co., Ltd. (now Honda Motor Co., Ltd.).
1954 Begins business dealings with Suzuki Motor Corporation.
1956 Begins business dealings with Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.
1963 Constructs Suzuka Factory in Suzuka City, Mie Pref. Constructs R&D Division in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Pref.
1971 Begins business dealings with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.
1976 Begins business dealings with Honda R&D Co., Ltd.
1982 Establishes Kyushu Fuji Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. (now KYUSHU F.C.C. CO., LTD., a consolidated subsidiary) in Matsubasemachi, Shimomashiki-gun (now Uki City), Kumamoto Pref.
1984 Constructs Ryuyo Factory in Ryuyo-cho, Iwata-gun (now Iwata City), Shizuoka Pref. Begins integrated paper lining production process. Changes trade name to F.C.C. CO., LTD.
1988 Establishes JAYTEC, INC. (now FCC (INDIANA) Mfg., LLC., a consolidated subsidiary) in Indiana, U.S.A..
1989 Establishes FCC (THAILAND) CO., LTD. (now a consolidated subsidiary) in Bangkok, Thailand.
Constructs Hosoe Factory in Inasa-gun, Hosoe-cho (now Hamamatsu City), Shizuoka Pref.
Relocates Head Office and R&D Division.
1992 Makes equity investment in KWANG HWA SHING INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. of Tainan Province, Taiwan.
1993 Establishes FCC (PHILIPPINES) CORP. (now a consolidated subsidiary) in Laguna, Philippines.
Acquires shares of TENRYU SANGYO CO., LTD. (now a consolidated subsidiary) of Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Pref.
1994 Registers its shares for OTC trading with the Securities Dealers Association of Japan.
Establishes CHENGDU JIANG HUA. F.C.C. CLUTCHES. CO., LTD. (now CHENGDU YONGHUA. F.C.C. CLUTCHES CO., LTD., a consolidated subsidiary) in Chengdu, Szechuan Province, China.
1995 Establishes CHU'S F.C.C. CO., LTD. (SHANGHAI) (now a consolidated subsidiary) in Shanghai, China.

1996 Awarded ISO 9001 certification (Technical Research Facility and other operations).

Establishes FCC (North Carolina), INC. (now FCC (North Carolina), LLC., a consolidated subsidiary) in North Carolina, U.S.A.
2001 Establishes PT. FCC INDONESIA in Karyawan, Indonesia.
2002 Establishes FCC (North America), INC. and FCC (INDIANA), INC. (both consolidated subsidiaries) in Indiana, U.S.A.
2003 Lists its shares on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Establishes FCC (Adams), LLC., (now a consolidated subsidiary) in Indiana, U.S.A.

2005 Constructs Hamakita Factory in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Pref.
Increases investment in KWANG HWA SHING INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. (now FCC (TAIWAN) CO., LTD.), making the company a consolidated subsidiary.
Establishes FCC (VIETNAM) CO., LTD. (now a consolidated subsidiary) in Hanoi, Vietnam.
2006 Establishes CHINA FCC FOSHAN CO., LTD. (now a consolidated subsidiary) in Foshan City, Guangdong Province, China.
2010 Acquires 100% of Tohoku Chemical Industries, Ltd. (now a consolidated subsidiary) in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.
2012 Establishes F.C.C. (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (now a consolidated subsidiary) in Chengdu, Szechuan Province, China.
Completes liquidation of FCC (EUROPE) LTD.
2013 Establishes FCC SEOJIN CO., LTD. in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, Korea.
Establishes FCC AUTOMOTIVE PARTS DE MEXICO, S.A. DE C.V. (now a consolidated subsidiary) in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
2014 Establishes FCC CLUTCH INDIA PRIVATE LTD. (currently a consolidated subsidiary) in Haryana, India.
Acquires 100% of FCC RICO LTD. (currently FCC INDIA MANUFACTURING PRIVATE LTD., a consolidated subsidiary).
2015 FCC INDIA MANUFACTURING PRIVATE LTD. has been merged by FCC CLUTCH INDIA PRIVATE LTD.
