What is the origin of the company name?

Our company was established in June 1939. under the name of Fuji Light Kogyosho Co., Ltd., and initially engaged in compression molding of synthetic resin products such as clutch plates for parts made mainly of bakelite resin, as well as gears.
In March 1943, the company name was changed to Fuji Chemical Co., Ltd. in English. Since then, the scope of business has changed with the times, and the company ended up specializing in clutches as it does today. However, since the name Fuji Chemical Co., Ltd. no longer adequately represented the scope of business, and after internal discussion, the company name was changed to the current name, F.C.C. CO., LTD., from the initials of Fuji Chemical Co., Ltd., in July 1984.

When was the company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange?

The company was listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in February 2003, and on the First Section the following year in March 2004.
